FSX – Embraer 190 SA Airlink South Africa

FSX – Embraer 190 SA Airlink South Africa. In the package you will find this Embraer -190 , operated by SA Airlink in 32bit textures. Added few pictures allowing first glance in the -view section- of this zip-file. This is a complete and perfect flyable aircraft with panel and sounds , using the defaults of the Lear45. This shiny Embraer -190 features extra bright navigation lights and realistic engine exhaust smoke. Includes an up to date specially made customized lightmap for the -Tell-Tail- lights , they illuminate the vertical stabilizer. Many camera views have been added too. Tweaked the aircraft.cfg also to achieve smooth take-offs and landings. Smart looking engines complete the exterior highlights. A few shockwave light additions have been included in the [lights]-section of the aircraft.cfg file , specially for those pilots who have these installed , if not , disable them by putting double slashes in front of any line having the “shockwave” word in the title using the notepad and save. Credits go to Aardvark team , Craig Crawley and David Rawlins for his Embraer -190 model , FDE and original paintkit.

FSX – North American XF-108 Updated

FSX – North American XF-108 Updated. The XF-108 was designed to be a Mach 3 long range fighter primarily to escort the XB-70 Valkyrie. It originally had a simple delta wing and a delta shaped canard above and behind the cockpit. A mockup was built based on this final design but the project was canceled just after the mockup was approved in mid 1959. This is an FSX update of the FS9 model by the late Paul Clawson and features an entirely remodeled and improved VC and a 2D panel matching it. It was quite a project to get the VC to look somewhat like a real panel with pretty much authentic gauges. However, the interior still looks kind of basic with its green color and plain texture, which, unfortunately, could not be altered in any way. But as the aircraft looks really awesome, I considered it worth giving it new panels. Thanks to the late  Paul Clawson for the original model. Also thanks to Philippe Wallaert for his excellent and authentic XB-70 gauges I’ve used in the panels for the most part. Credits also go to Erwin Welker for the extra camera views. The model may work in FS2004 and in P3D, but I’m not sure.

FSX – Miles M3 Prototype G-ACTM

FSX – Miles M3 Prototype G-ACTM. The pilot can be removed from the external view using the Water Rudder keystroke (SHIFT+W, in FS9, CTRL+W, in FSX). The Pilots sliding window uses the cowl flaps keyboard command or by mouse in FS9, the passenger window uses SHIFT+E+3, or by mouse click in FS9. FSX does not respond to mouse clicks on transparent items. The passenger & the baggage can be removed by deleting their weight from the Fuel & Payload dropdown menu. The consumption of fuel from the central tank affects C of G, so needs monitoring during flight. The easiest way to select the fuel tank to be used is to select ‘FUEL’ from the Icons on the instrument panel, & then Left Click on the position required, this obviates the sequence using the VC fuel cock of passsing through ‘OFF’. The Air-Log instrument will record hours flown in the top central green window, with the needle showing minutes. There are 4 digits that can be displayed in the lower half of the instrument & record the total engine hours run.

FSX – Messerschmitt Me-109Z Updated

FSX – Messerschmitt Me-109Z Updated. The Messerschmitt development department received a directive in 1942 to begin work on a Zerstörer (destroyer, or heavy fighter). An earlier RLM directive of 1941 had tried to limit the amount of new designs coming from the major aircraft companies (to not disrupt the production lines with new aircraft), so it was decided to couple two Bf 109 fuselages together, along with a new center wing and tailplane section, to come up with the Me 109Z (Zwilling, or twin). A prototype was completed in early 1943, but it was damaged in an Allied air attack on the Messerschmitt test center, and the damage was deemed too severe for repair. The development was abandoned in 1944, and by then, the Me 262 jet fighter had taken wing. The Messerschmitt development department received a directive in 1942 to begin work on a Zerstörer (destroyer, or heavy fighter). Its focus lies upon an improved and more realistic looking VC and interior, but I also added wing and vc lights, improved the FDE and added smoke effect as well as new thumbnails. Gauges are all authentic German in both the VC and 2D panel. This is the whole package for easy installation. Credits go to Daisuke Iga,Kazunari Shinada and Kawauso Hermitage for the original CF2 model and to Eric Hertzberger for his FSX conversion.

FSX – Native Paulistina

FSX – Native Paulistina. The CAP-4 Paulistinha was a military and civilian trainer aircraft built in Brazil during the 1930s and 1940s. It was originally developed by Empresa Aeronáutica Ypiranga (EAY) as an unlicensed copy of the Taylor Cub powered by a Salmson 9Ad radial engine. It featured a high strut-braced wing, two enclosed tandem seats, and a steel-tube fuselage with fabric covering. Its tailwheel undercarriage was not retractable.
